It is probably also a psychological thing when he says that. By making this statement, he is putting the current number 1 Djokovic under pressure. So it would also be an advantage for Alcaraz when he praises Sinner.

Once again Zverev showed a different performances. He was often unfocussed in this match and gave Medvedev too many gifts. But that also happened sometimes at Medvedevs side. But Medvedev deserved to win the match. I seems he is the opponent of fear for Zverev. 6 matches this year, lost 5 times.
