The result was nothing but totenham didn't even expect udogie and remoro will be leaving from the clubs due to the two red card accumulations. Totenham never think that was happening to the club and in fact, the red card was destroying the gameplay and mentality of the club.
Chelsea was always able attacking it but since totenham was only having 9 players and the gap in the quantity meant a lot for the club. Yeah jackson can only score 3 which is bad. If it was haaland and im sure it will able to score more than it.
The bad result keeps happen with totenham after losing against chelsea and totenham was also losing three points against wolves which has never been predictable.
Totenham needs to start from the bottom again to reevaluate the performance of its club. Ange is likely trying to push totenham to play even better than before.
Im willing to see what some changed to be made by ange in totenham.
To be frank the two red cards they conceded against Chelsea has really affected the general teams performance cause Romero and Udojie are 2 key players in different wings and Tottenham don't really have a very good squad depth with players that could replace the booked ones, that's why their performance has gone down cause they also lost to Wolverhampton after that match and it came as a suprise cause majority of people would've expected them to use the match against Wolverhampton as a consolation match based on their humiliation by chelsea.
This shows that Tottenham really needs to strengthen their squad depth in the upcoming window, I believe they still have the funds they realized from selling Kane, so it would be useful in recruiting new players, but for now they need to build back their confidence and play with a good team spirit to get back to winning ways.
We can all agree that Tottenham made a great start to life under Ange, going unbeaten in their opening 10 games and topping the table. But the steam has cooled off in the last two games as they were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea with nine men and then lost 2-1 at Wolves in a game where they were leading going into stoppage time.
I think Tottenham didn’t expect any of those incidences against Chelsea. They approached the game as they normally do but suspension and injury are the inevitables in football. Tottenham is a side that doesn’t have enough depth. They don’t have the replacements for the key players that are absent. I think one of the key factor behind these previous defeats was the absence of James Maddison, with Tottenham missing his ability to progress the ball up the field and create chances.
It’s now worse that Bissouma will not feature against Aston Villa next weekend, leaving them with few first team players.
It’s evident that lack of depth is the reason behind Tottenham’s drop in from and the upcoming fixtures aren’t favorable either. It’s left to see how Ange will approach their next game without these key players.
