Rudi Garcia has been sacked, they called back Mazzarri after 10 years.
Conte is rumored to have refused them, twice.
Finally, Napoli fired Rudi Garcia.  Grin
It makes sense, Rudi Garcia never improved Napoli performance. We even heard a rumor about bad relationship with the players. This will have no solution, firing him is the best decision.

I'm surprised Napoli hired Mazzarri. I think there is no very special thing with Mazzarri when he was the manager of Napoli in 2009 until 2013. The only thing that he can achieve with Napoli was winning  Italian Cup in the season 2011-2012. But Napoli may have no alternatives for the coach, so they decided to sign Mazzarri.

It is very unfortunate Conte rejected the offer.  :-

I feel very sorry for Rudi Garcia, he wasnt a bad person. However, he was unable to make Napoli work. Zero.
I am also sorry that Antonio Conte didnt accept, it was a great opportunity for him and for Napoli.
At this point it is better for him to keep Mazzarri close, who in any case is an excellent coach!
TBH, what happened is not entirely the fault of Garcia or the Napoli players, but what we need to see that the current owner of Napoli is too ambitious with a high desire to get the title he wants but at the expense of a coach who is always fired and if we remember how Spalletti at Napoli was even able to raised Napoli to a higher level and just because he failed to bring Napoli to the UCL Spalletti was also fired while the coach has a bright future if he is retained for a few more seasons and replaced by Garcia while I say that the Napoli owner careless efforts will only bring bad things to his own team and everything I say comes true that Garcia failed to strengthen Napoli to a higher level.

and this time it was a ridiculous attempt to call Mazzarri to be appointed as coach at Napoli and remember what I said, Mazzarri will also end up like other coaches who will be fired. Conte then rejected the offer from Napoli because he was aware of how tough the work system was when he was at Napoli who wanted to get prestigious UCL title instantly and that would never happen.
