I am a person who chases losses until I spend all my savings. It was a bad condition for me. I did that when I was new to gambling. I don't have enough experience yet so I keep chasing losses and increasing the bet so that one win can cover the previous loss. But what I did was wrong, chasing losses made me lose more money. I realized it too late, and only realized it when all my savings were gone. This was a bad but valuable experience for me
Well, as long as gambling is concerned, there are some things we ourselves must learn the hard way, that is, we do it and based on our own personal experience, we will learn that that thing is not good to do and possibly stop it, but the unfortunate thing is that, such lessons sometimes doesn't come without some losses financially.
Chasing loses is what so many gamblers still practice even till today, for some, it does favor them at the end of the day, while for majority of others, it always end in nothing but much more loses, and as we gamblers, we know not how lucky we will be, this is why it's very important to completely avoid chasing loses, no matter how compelling the feeling to do it is, we must always try as much as possible to be in control of ourselves, rather than allow our emotions control us.
Many things must be learned to avoid or reduce risk, because by understanding or learning related things it can minimize the losses that will be experienced, so they will not lose large amounts of money.
Why can you say it is profitable in the end? Do you guarantee that those who chase losses will win? I think most gamblers like that only end up losing. Even if they win too, it's not worth the loss they've felt. With emotions controlling everything to be chaotic until they lose a large amount of money of course this is not a good thing but this is something they should avoid when gambling.
