The truth is nobody can say for sure what will happen in the future but from all observations, we can guess based on the information we have now Bitcoin's future is very promising and reliable. It's undeniable that the underlying technology is really innovative and has the potential to change the way we do business and interact with each other and the decentralization of Bitcoin is a powerful feature that sets it apart from traditional currencies and other digital currencies.
There is no doubt that the future of Bitcoin is looking bright. In my country, there have been discussions at various stages of government on how to harness the power of blockchain technology. Even though Bitcoin have not been legalised in many countries including mine, there is a growing interest especially in the underlying technology and that is a good publicity for Bitcoin.
However, the growing acceptance of Bitcoin by businesses and some countries is a sign that it's here to stay. Interestingly, Bitcoin is already being used for things like remittances, international payments, and online shopping too.
I wouldn't say for sure that Bitcoin have had deep penetraion in terms of usage especially integrating into businesses. Remember most of these businesses are registered and regulated by the governments and global financial systems that are still reluctant to accept Bitcoin. If peradventure Bitcoin becomes regulated, I'm confident that there will be massive adoption of Bitcoin by many big institutions and cooperations.
However, there is some merits in your statement that Bitcoin is being widely used in activities such as remittances, and other cross border payments. It is even Bitcoin that gave rise to the boom in online casinos and betting playforms.
