This is something I've always been wondering about. Gamblers tend to have a league, be it basketball football or any famed sport, that they tend to love most. For instance in the USA American football and NBA betting tend to be very popular, while in south and south east Asia countries cricket is also very popular among other sports. So people tend to have a league in a certain sport that they know the most about, have a favorite team in, know the players etc.
So what's your experience with this. When your league is in break, do you tend to try to follow other leagues that you're familiar with, or will you gamble on anything really? I'm interested to hear what other people have to say in this matter.
For me personally, I try to limit my gambling to teams where I know at least some players, because otherwise it's easy to get carried away. Really in my opinion, gambling on leagues and sports that you know little to nothing about, only increases the edge against you.
Usually will find alternative sports which I am familiar with but if I don't like to bet on those sports because I don't really enjoy then will just gamble on slot games or plinko since this is I think more fun to participate compare betting on sports which is just your alternative and doesn't give you feel any excitement. If I'm really bored then will stop to gamble for few more days or even a month then wait for new season opener to come up since Its bad for a person to push theirselves to gamble especially if you really don't like what you are doing.
That's why bet only on the category you enjoy the most since it will give us huge self satisfaction compare when betting on sports or games that we don't actually like or for us we just take it as our past time games.
Aside from NBA and Football then i do have interest on Esports too on which if a certain team or player isnt present or really have those accident or issues then i do tend to skip on such betting.
I dont really force myself on creating one considering that there's no fun when you do make out bets on teams which you arent really that familiar with, not unless if you do really just
that make bets for the odds or simply trying to make some patch up then its your choice but for me then i wont really be liking this kind of approach because it does really
remove the real essence of gambling when you do force yourself on making bets on something which you didnt even know or interest you in.
