This is something I've always been wondering about. Gamblers tend to have a league, be it basketball football or any famed sport, that they tend to love most. For instance in the USA American football and NBA betting tend to be very popular, while in south and south east Asia countries cricket is also very popular among other sports. So people tend to have a league in a certain sport that they know the most about, have a favorite team in, know the players etc.
So what's your experience with this. When your league is in break, do you tend to try to follow other leagues that you're familiar with, or will you gamble on anything really? I'm interested to hear what other people have to say in this matter.
For me personally, I try to limit my gambling to teams where I know at least some players, because otherwise it's easy to get carried away. Really in my opinion, gambling on leagues and sports that you know little to nothing about, only increases the edge against you.
I don't force myself to bet when leagues are on break but I think it's very common for players to at most has a 1 month break, the only time they rest from league is when they are injure, if they are not playing for the League, they should be playing national games. So, I think it's easy to make analysis on national games to bet your favorite team after carefully checking their historical performances and current form.
You can also switch to other like cricket and basketball, that's what many of bettors do and it's more easy to make money on basketball than football according to some analyst which I tried and comfirmed but as of recently, things are not really going well in that games. When you are about win something will just happened that will spoil everything even in die minutes which beg the question if basketball is a control game or not.
However, as I had stressed earlier, if major leagues go to break, kindly go to break too because trying to force bet will only force loss on you which will leave you with nothing but losses. But if you are that good in predictions, it's easy to navigate through nationals and enjoy your gambling.
