Looking their' recent performance, I don't think they will relegated. I believe they will comeback, but after all Everton is just Everton, they can't going up to reach top 7 and will end near bottom position.
However I remember before this season started, many people were praise Burnley and they think Burnley could be a new contender, but they're currently stay at the lowest position lol.
Never mind Burnley, Manchester United, which previously ended the season in 3rd place last season, also performed below expectations in the first 12 matches this season. Everything is difficult to predict, even teams that were quite doubtful last season have performed so well this season, such as Tottenham and Liverpool.
Everton are in the relegation zone not because their performance is too bad, but they were deducted 10 points for violating FFP. Of course it has taken a toll on them this season, but Everton can still do their best and recover from it all before the season is over. I don't know what will happen to Manchester City and Chelsea if they are also found to be in breach, but the current rumors are anything but certain.
