Last season, Everton was only able to finish in 17th place in the EPL standings by collecting 36 points, meaning they finished one level above the degradation zone. The points deduction this time means that Sean Dyche squad has to fight harder to get out of the degradation zone. I am very sure they will not be degradation next season. However, looking at their future match schedule, it looks like their efforts will be really difficult.
Regardless of anything in recent seasond it has been difficult for Everton to get out of the zone that is always in trouble. After being in the middle of the table in 2020/21 they seemed to lose their identity and in the last 2 season they were always stranded at the end of the limit before relegation although they were still luck enough to avoid relegation in the previous 2 seasons but this kind of luck willn't be able to last until the end.
Currently they are still very difficult to maintain the quality of their performance which make this even more complicated but indeed the chance is still there, it's just that if you push your luck too much this will not end well.
