I have read this a dozen of times now that Zidane refuses to manage a team from the Premier League. I don't know if this is a rumor or not and what his reasons would really be to refuse it, but if it is true then this is of course unlikely. It also doesn't make much sense because Zidane has won so many important titles already and he prefers to have teams that are ready to win titles and not need half a decade to be trained in order to then be ready to win titles. Manchester United can't win big titles in the next few years. They need to be newly composed as a team first and I don't think Zidane would want to do that.
It's not a rumor. Zidane has no interest to manage the EPL club. Zidane has bad story related to the EPL clubs. No doubt if he has no interesting to coaching the EPL club. Zidane has been even rejecting some countries like brazil, US even portugal.
He was only willing to join in the club that makes him feel interesting with. He never had interest to be a coach for EPL club and no doubt he is not caring about that. This is why linked him to the several EPL clubs sounds non sense since zidane has made it clear if he has no interest to go there.
Ok thanks for getting back to this but to me this still sounds like if it is only half of the story that should be told here. What is that bad story that you are talking about that Zidane is said to have had with clubs from the Premier League? Was that a specific negative event? Because I have been following Zidane for a very long time and have always been a big fan of him, but I can't remember an event that would make Zidane distance himself from ever coaching an English club. I would like to know what his reason is for that, a credible reason. If Manchester City would go to him and make him an offer, do you think he would say no?
