Undoubtedly, Bayer Leverkusen has been the best club in the German Bundesliga since the start of the season which has made many to believe that they're gonna end Bayern Munich dominance in the league. Bayer Leverkusen of course are strong contenders to win the German Bundesliga title but considering the quality of players at Bayern Munich and their current performance, I think it'll be very difficult to stop Bayern Munich from successfully defending the league title once again.
The performance of Bayer Leverkusen this season has made the Bundesliga a very interesting one because it's been more competitive than it used to be but I think we're gonna see current champions retain the title at the end if the season
Honestly, I doubt it. In fact, I am still optimistic that Bayern Munich will retain its title this season. I'm not a Bayern Munich supporter, or even Leverkusen. for neutral fans, I like these two teams and how they play their matches and remain consistent. Both Bayern and Leverkusen are competing for the Bundesliga trophy. It's just that it's too short for us to speculate or even predict it.
After all, the Bundesliga has only presented 11 matches, there is still a lot left to play for the two competing teams. We cannot deny that since Alonso's arrival at BayArena last season, he was able to bring this team back from adversity and finished in 6th place. This season, Alonso has added several new ammunition to strengthen his team. Okoh Boniface and Xhaka, one of those who contributed to Xabi Alonso's squad. Apart from that, Leverkusen also has several players who are quite good and at the same time productive in scoring goals. that's why they are now at the top of the Bundesliga standings.
