Manchester United only lost once, of course they want to stay focused on keeping it on the winning track,
MU 1 vs 0 Luton (EPL)
Copenhagen 4 vs 3 MU (UCL)Fulham 0 vs 1 MU (EPL)
MU 0 vs 3 Newcastle (EFL)
MU 0 vs 3 Man City (EPL)In the last five games, Man United only won twice, and both times it was by a narrow 1-0 score. This suggests that their attack isn't very sharp. However, if you look at their losses, there's always more than 2.5 goals scored. This also proves that Man United's defense is quite vulnerable.
The real evidence is that Man United often wins by a narrow margin, sometimes just one goal, which could be considered lucky victories. How long can they rely on their luck? That's what makes me doubtful about the match against Everton... it seems like MU won't get a positive result at Goodison Park.
What do you expect when you have the likes of Marcus Rashford leading the attack? United attackers lack the consistency needed to be truly world class and there is urgent need to work on their finishing as they often miss chances that they should be putting away. One area that I think is particularly important for the Manchester United attackers is their decision making in the opposite box. Too often, they take the wrong option or make the wrong passes leading to missed opportunities. Rashford to be precise will waste more than five chances before he'll manage to convert one into a goal.
The Manchester United defense is certainly an area that needs improvement as well because in particular, the team needs to work on their organization and communication. They often look disjointed and vulnerable to counter attacks. They also need to improve their individual defending, as some players make too many mistakes. Yes, I'm referring to Harry Maguire here although he's been improve in their recent matches and I hope he maintains the performance.
