The block number is so high mostly because a whale of a miner hit the pool early on and crashed it. Once the pool came back up (and hasn't had any problems since) things have been operating as normal and the difficulty was auto adjusted accordingly. The unique features of this coin are almost entirely in the marketing team, that is a given. I think this usefulness of this coin will be seen in the acceptance rate the marketing team can achieve with these dispensarys. Pot coin could do the same exact thing, but that doesn't mean they will have the same wide spread success. We will see who wins.
