He could have told us before what was going on, sure; his clients and gamblers who still had money deposited there would have appreciated that gesture, but I assume it did not happen because this representative and the people left in the casino who were not involved with the exit scam were still trying to gather information on what was going on, they would have initially assumed all this mess was the result of some hacker messing around with their webpage and then gaining power over their private keys, but they later realized it was an inside job by their former associates. If they came and give a explanation too early, it could have resulted in inaccurate statements which could have make people to further experiment confusion and distrust towards their intentions.
Thay have already taken the first and most difficult step towards solving this mess, we can hope they manage to pay back the same community which home the casino.
