Kalau stake Bitcoin address untuk keperluan backup recovery akun, saran saya gunakan address Bitcoin bertipe legacy (awalan 1). Karena tidak semua wallet Bitcoin bisa mem-verifikasi sign message dengan tipe Segwit, salah satunya Bitcoin Core, berikut ini diantara alasannya:

There is no solution and you cannot sign a message with a segwit address. This has been the case since segwit was introduced. See https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/10542
