Heartbreak for India as it was their best chance to win another World Cup and it looked like it was theirs until it all crumbled. Inexperience from the Indian side showed in the crunch time. Too passive in the field while bowling and the Indian middle order are all hype no substance. They'll play well in IPL as there isn't much pressure, since they are getting handsomely paid irrespective of their performance. They just have to perform a few times in 20-30 games, which is fairly easy.
Poor batting from..

Shubman Gill 4 runs
Shreyas Iyer 4 runs
Ravindra jadeja 9 runs
SKY 18 runs

In yesterday's match, India's top batsmen's contribution was very poor, especially in the early stages, India were under so much pressure that KL Rahul was forced to play a Test-like innings. India's innings was set a target of 240 for now based on KL Rahul's slow batting. Although the target of 241 runs was not a very tough target for Australia but due to poor performance of Indian fielding in Australia's innings and several missed catches, India lost the match yesterday heartbreakingly.

If these top batsmen of India had done a little better from the beginning, maybe this match would not have been in their hands like this. Moreover, if KL Rahul had not played like he did in the Tests, India might have been bowled out by fewer runs. Kl Rahul batted well but if his opponent batsman could have supported him, he would have tried to do better but he didn't. It is true that KL Rahul was given a target of 240 runs, if he had batted worse India might have had fewer runs. A powerhouse like Australia cannot be held back with a target of 241 runs as they have won the World Cup five times before. They have enough experience of Australia's final matches that they know how to put India under pressure and beat them. But it was unfortunate that the gallery-packed India fans, who had been cheering a lot from the start, fell silent after the loss.
