We've all been waiting for this game all season; it's survival of the fittest, everything is clenched and everyone is wagging their thumbs at their respective favorite clubs to win. Pep Guardiola will not accept failures this time around; he is determined to win every game this season, without holding back and always looking forward. Manchester City cannot lose at home to Liverpool this season though this is football and anything can happen; defeats at Etihad Stadium remain out of the question. Jurgen Klopp and his team will only attempt, and they may be content with a draw tie.
Losing, winning and drawing are just part of the game. Both teams are expected to give their best which will benefit their respective teams, but developing the right strategy will differentiate the final goal of each team. Sometimes plans fail and don't go according to expectations, but currently both teams have the same chance of winning even though Manchester City is likely to secure 3 points at home.
Manchester City cannot afford to drop points if they want to stay at the top of the standings, but nothing is impossible for them to lose or draw against Liverpool this weekend. Pep Guardiola must increase his focus on Liverpool's game and performance which has started to improve since the start of the season. Liverpool have been much better than last season and it looks like they are ready to compete for the title until the end of the season.
