For the big match between Manchester City and Liverpool I can say that I also favour Manchester City to win like most people. Liverpool are way stronger than the previous season which is a fact. But their job is still really difficult in Etihad Stadium. It has always been like that for a long time as well. While Guardiola is here and his system is working smoothly it is really difficult to beat them especially in away matches. It is the same for even Liverpool which are the second team in the standings now.
But we can at least watch a match with quite many goals. There have been many matches between them ending like that. I think both teams would score and we are likely to see at least 3 goals.
I also think Manchester city will have maximum points against Liverpool in this fixture. They’re playing at Etihad and they’re always decent when playing at home. There were injury concern of Halaand during the international break with Norway but I think he’ll be fit for that game. Haaland is currently leading the Premier League goalscoring charts for a second consecutive season with 13 goals in 12 games and provides City's biggest attacking threat. Although Liverpool have been very solid defensively this season and also think Liverpool will not totally sleep out for Manchester city to dominate.
However, Liverpool were one of the few sides that Haaland failed to score against last season and I am sure he will be hoping to get off the mark against Manchester City's closest league competitors at the Etihad.
Liverpool will be hoping to pick up a win in this game, because a win give them their first away league win against Manchester City in eight-years.
