The game will be very difficult to predict because both teams are in top form. City will be without Mateo Kovacic, Nathan Ake, Matheus Nunes, Ederson, and Erling Haaland which might have little effect on the cityzen's performance because these players a very important to the team. Liverpool has injury concerns with players like Konaté, Gravenberch, Gomez, and Robertson sidelined for the big game. In the last four games that both teams played, City won two and the Reds also got two wins.
The game that's likely to be the major focus for the weekend in the EPL would be Manchester City against Liverpool. Both teams have been up to speed in their performance, they've got all it takes to make the game tough for each other, It'll be only fair that the games should end in draw but we cannot predict, both teams are experienced, both in players and coaching wing, the both teams have the ability to win games and it's very much certain that they will put out their best in the game.
If you look at the 46 Head to Heads in the Premier League between Man City and Liverpool so far the collection is quite positive where Liverpool have won 19 times while Man City have won 11 times and drawn 16 times each. At least in terms of performance this season both Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp troops have the potential to excel.
I hope that although this match is fierce, these two teams are almost all professional players so that no matter how fierce we as spectators will enjoy a very aggressive attack after attack. Especially since this match will be a temporary result of who tops the Premier League standings.

But how much sense does it make to use this head to head statistic when there are games so many years ago? I think the games that have taken place in the most recent past have some significance for any predictions, but nothing else.

But I agree that in the Premier League this is the game everyone is waiting for now as they are the best teams so far. But we have had the Newcastle against Manchester City and Arsenal, who won their game at home against them at the end of the game. I am looking forward to this one!
