For the big match between Manchester City and Liverpool I can say that I also favour Manchester City to win like most people. Liverpool are way stronger than the previous season which is a fact. But their job is still really difficult in Etihad Stadium. It has always been like that for a long time as well. While Guardiola is here and his system is working smoothly it is really difficult to beat them especially in away matches. It is the same for even Liverpool which are the second team in the standings now.
But we can at least watch a match with quite many goals. There have been many matches between them ending like that. I think both teams would score and we are likely to see at least 3 goals.
If what I'm hearing about Erling Haaland is true, being injured on International duty for Norway, Manchester City could find it very difficult to win against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium because Manchester City will be playing Liverpool without their two-point men which are Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland. I'm seeing Liverpool getting a point from Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
If really Erling Haaland will be absent against Liverpool definitely it going to be hard for Manchester City to win, even though many keep on saying that the absent of Kevin De Bruyne is affecting Erling Haaland to score and still he is managing to move the club even though it not at much as we expected, Erling Haaland presence in the pitch has an advantage without Kevin De Bruyne in the pitch, any opponent playing against Manchester City no what Erling Haaland is capable of and he will draw the attention of the defender anywhere he move to and the other colleagues will take the advantage of that to score. I still have hope of is return before the match day because they didn't even specified the date of his return, they are still doubtful, maybe there is probability of him playing, his absent is a big disaster for them, Manchester city really need a win in this match to sit comfortably on top of the table.
