India definitely fell short on the runs in the World Cup, and they have only themselves to blame for not winning on their home turf with the talented lineup they've got. Honestly, their bowling attack is something else. With Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj, no team can easily score 300. In a World Cup Final, chasing 300-plus runs would have been a tough ask for Australia. If things had played out differently, the scenarios could have been better and favored India.
Obviously India team could not worked hard. Indian batsman and bowler responsible Ray in the final match. Because they did not play well. All the Indian bowlers worked hard in the previous matches and did not work hard in the final match. India played at home ground but still lost the match. Yes, Indian batsmen would have scored 300 runs if they had tried, then it would have been a tough target for Australia. But India batsman could not worked hard and lose the match.
