De Bruyne has a big chance of being played by Pep Guardiola in this match and if he is currently in a fit position it will provide a big advantage for Manchester City. Facing Liverpool definitely requires a complete squad because Jurgen Klopp knows enough how to apply strategy when facing a top team that is much more balanced. De Bruyne's presence is still a good option in midfield because this player can always control the flow of the match and can also provide good ball flow for attacks.
If De Bruyne's condition has not fully recovered then I am sure Pep Guardiola will not play him as a starter and he will try to place another player. For me, De Bruyne's presence is quite important because it will give his team more control over the midfield so that they can provide many opportunities as an option to get three points at home and to maintain a positive trend as top of the standings.
In as much as Kevin de Bruyne is one of the best player on Manchester City but I don't think he will play this match even if he is free from the injury this week, because whenever a player has that kind of injury and stay that long without training he would find it difficult to perform if being put in the field so Kelvin de Bruyne will not start immediately after recovery because he will need to undergo a series of fitness test and training to actually know if he can perform when he resumes training.
Other clubs shall be scared when he will able to play again but no ETA when he will able to play. De bruyne was getting serious injury and it needs to be tested a lot of times to make sure he has been fully recovered from his injury. I didn't even like how he was getting serious injury which was only ruining his performance this season. I hope he will come back as soon as possible to help city to defend UCL and EPL at this season. It's always disappointed to see manchester city played without him as attacking midfielders that can always give so many amazing assists.
So perhaps even if Kelvin de Bruyne were to play there upcoming match I don't think he will be a much threat to other team because he will not be able to play the way he normally do.
Im not sure. The main role of him to be king of assists that will be helping haaland in scoring as many goals as possible. The doctor will not let him to play without doing more examination for the result of his recovery.
I really miss the king of assist to play again. He has been linked to the saudi pro league club as well which makes me feel a bit worry.
