If we remember the final of the Asia Cup, we can see there that India bowled out Sri Lanka by 60 runs in the final match. But who knew that his streak would happen in the 2023 World Cup final with India vs Australia. By winning the Asia Cup, the confidence of the Indian team increased many times. India has won ten consecutive matches with power. But in the final match, the Indian team was bowled out for just 240 runs. If Shubman Gill had not been out, Australia would have been able to target around 300 runs in the final match. Australia bowled brilliantly in the final match. Australia's fielding was amazing. If we watch the game carefully, many players have done great fielding. Australia team has saved around 40 runs by fielding. The Australian team tasted its sixth championship thanks to their excellent bowling and batting.

Australia fielding was more improved then all previous matches. In the round matches Australia drops so many catches. You said only saving runs and didn't talk about ROHIT SHARMA catches taken by Travis Head. This catch was very difficult and from here I think match direction changes. ROHIT SHARMA was looking very dangerous. He was in extreme aggressive form. If he had play full powerplay then 300 runs is expected. BTW both team played well and no player should be blamed for India lost. Many team didn't even reached to qualifing round.
India played way well winning all 10 matches expect the most important final of worl cup. I think its a bad day for indian cricket and for Rohit Sharma and Virat kholi also beacuse they played almost their last world cup. I feel sad for Rohit Sharma he played very aggressively scored fast 47 runs in just 31 balls and unfortunately miss his half century by 3 runs short. Australia fielding and captaincy was amazing they played relly well in final especially travis head what a player he it such a match winner on big day for Australia.
They play aggressive cricket in the final match. Generally what we see with Indian batsmen is that they gradually increase their scores. At first they try to settle in the field and later they roar. But the opposite is seen in Final match. After falling few wickets the batsmen tried but they could not hold on their wickets. Luck did not favor them either, the top order batsmen were not good either. After winning 10 matches in a row, when you have to lose in the final, the depression will be high for everyone. At the end of the match we saw how bad the Indian batsmen felt.
Whenever Australia won the toss and decided to bowl instead of batting, I thought Australia would make an example today. That's right, they preyed on India's top-order batsmen early on. This put India under pressure and at one stage managed to score 240 for all the wickets. I can't say whether India had bad luck here but they didn't perform very well in the final against Australia. In this World Cup, they went unbeaten in every match at home and qualified for the finals, but their worst performance there resulted in them losing to Australia in the final. I will never regret this loss as India did not perform well in this final.
Under the captaincy of Pat Cummins, the Indian team suffered a major blow during the batting innings. Firstly, Rohit Sharma's most run-scoring spot is the deep point, blocking that spot during the fielding set-up. Pat cummins understood the slower nature of the pitch that's why Virat Kohli and KL Rahul kept a fielder at short square leg, deep square leg, deep fine leg so India couldn't hit any boundary between 10-26 overs. In the case of Rohit Sharma's wicket, pat cummins bowled Maxwell instead of bowling himself so that chances were created and it worked. As the ball started to get old the ball was river swinging, just then pat cummins bowled a spell with Mitchell starc and josh hazelwood where they succeeded. Which bowler can be used at which time pat cummins managed to use it surprisingly well. I think it was Pat Cummings' captaincy that restricted India to 240 and Australia won their sixth World Cup.
