I think security should be my number one priority as a fresher or newbies, although with time I will gets acquainted with the relevant information across the forum,
First of all, welcome to the forum. We're pleased to see this post from you. Your diligence as a beginner in educating yourself on security measures to keep your assets safe and understanding common scam tactics is essential. Your crypto can be stolen through phishing sites and numerous schemes and other methods, such as downloading a non-official wallet, using an unknown exchange platform, downloading malicious files, using cracks, etc.

As for phishing sites, the least preventive measure you can take is not to open links sent to you through email or messaging apps like Telegram or Discord, or on social media platforms, especially the X platform. Instead, rely on official links that you've bookmarked in your browser. Before opening a phishing link, you can check the domain letters and the domain ends. Often, these phishing sites are created for airdrop hunters, giveaway seekers, and those looking for free money without effort. If you encounter a site asking you to connect your wallet, be cautious and avoid connecting your main wallet or signing a message, as this could lead to losing your wallet assets.
