- I believe that skills play a more crucial role than luck in gambling or any other field.
That can be said about sportsbetting and only a few gambling games such as Poker. What about other types of gambling? Skill is needed everywhere but the outcome of most gambling is not depending on your luck factor for sure.

Interestingly, I just read a post on this forum discussing the use of mathematical skills to win in gambling. You can check it out here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5474432.0
That's about Poker, and Poker is generally categorized as a skill-based game.

- Gambling is a game based on probability, and if you can calculate the probabilities, the chances of winning are high.
How do you suggest one calculates the probabilities in games like slots, dice, and crash, etc.? Theoretically you can calculate but in real life your mathematical skills may not help you while you are in gambling rush.

Luck, on the other hand, is just a secondary factor. If you lack skills, then, of course, luck becomes the most important factor for you!  Grin
Not really, apart from a few games and regions of gambling, luck is the most important thing and one cannot win anything if they are unlucky. Luck even influences the results in sports betting sometimes. You can always see some minor team winning against the favorites.
