Source If Manchester United and Ten Hag actually are negotiating with Bayern Munich to make this transfer, it will be another big mistake and likely another failed transfer they make.
They signed with some old players, Ibrahimovic, Schweinsteiger, Cavani, Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro and we can see what they got from those old players. If they want to make big change, rebuild their team, they must do it with young players, not with old players who are counting down last seasons in their career.
Ten Hag is about to make a huge change in Manchester United and they are going to sell or release some players. Manchester United surely needs some changes.
Donny van de Beek and Sancho are going to leave in January. Scott McTominay, Casemiro, and Christian Eriksen are probably open for sale, and probably Manchester United will not buy Sofyan Amrabat permanently after his loan is over.
What clubs will buy those old players like Casemiro, Eriksen if not Saudi Arabia clubs. For players who lost their forms and maybe confidence like de Beek, Sancho will not be favorite targets of big clubs for transfers. McTominay is not a player who can help Manchester United to get big transfer money. So assume they let all those players go, they will not gain big fund from transfer market.
