My questions are :
Do you think it's worth the wait, he's getting 6% interest per annum but he still has to pay a lot of money and suffers a lot even to the point of having a rift with his daughter
Will you do the same thing and fight for your rights to claim the prize
$217k is not a small amount of money in the US not to mention the Philippines, so I believe the wait and the effort given to it are all worth it. This is an example of a determined heart to get justice and it's justifiable since what he pursued justice for is worth it. For the daughter, it's a mere familiar issue which will easily get resolved and I am sure with the final result, the daughter would be very proud and happy for her father.

However, the only painful part is the value of the money which would have greatly decreased over the course of the legal battle. The 6% annual interest is nothing that can quantify the decreased value of the money due to inflation in the country within the past 9 years.

Still huge if you are in Philippines or even if you are in US since you can buy a lot of things with that amount. Also good thing that the winner got his prize and this totally paid all the efforts they do just to get that money. This show if the person is eager to get something that he really deserve they can get the money especially if there's relevance on their claims. For sure that it is since imagine fighting for 9 years to get the reward for sure his daughter is proud for what his father achieve since they totally made a lot of effort to get it.

But for sure the winner doesn't care about the timespan but he's surely happy what the present bring since he knows enjoy the money he won and for sure that's more important thing for them at the moment.
