My questions are :
Do you think it's worth the wait, he's getting 6% interest per annum but he still has to pay a lot of money and suffers a lot even to the point of having a rift with his daughter
Will you do the same thing and fight for your rights to claim the prize

I don't know, perhaps the reason is that he really won and should be given the winnings, and most likely that was his point of going against the lottery company and fighting them for years just to claim his prize money. So I would say it's worth, regardless of what and how angle you are going to look at it. Money is still money won.

As for the rift between him and his daughter, time heals all wound, and specially that he had laid claim for the prize money, maybe the father and daughter can settle their big difference. As the saying goes, blood is thicker than water so hopefully both sides have forgiven each other after a long time.
