Yeah guys, it feels the next fight scheduled is a long time from now with this one you have been mentioning happening on December 2 in Austin, Texas.
With some more recent news:
Does anybody see the new merger between PFL and Bellator affecting the UFC in anyway?
The UFC is more dominant in the MMA fight sport than both of them combined.
Hear they might have a possible Ngannou vs Paul in the cards.
I know this is laughable but when it comes bringing in the eyes and hence the dollars to the masses, that is all these type of organizations think about when it comes down to it.
Jake Paul isn't even the same weightclass as Ngannou so this circus-type fight would not fly.
Maybe under the Paul boxing promotions banner but not in the MMA.
According to Donn Davis who is the owner of the PFL, he said uncle Dana is
concerned on this merger with Bellator. We cannot be quite certain if this is only speculation from Donn Davis or if this is the truth, however, we can be quite certain that MMA fans and bettors will be very happy to have better events to watch and more fights to bet from the PFL hehehehe.
The long-rumored acquisition of Bellator by the PFL has finally been announced, and PFL Chairman Donn Davis believes UFC CEO Dana White might be concerned by the news.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on the day that the news broke, Davis touched on a number of topics and also weighed in on how White might be feeling after he's had to field questions regarding a potential PFL and Bellator merger in recent press conferences.
“Everybody knows Dana well enough that he only dismisses things that worry him, or else he just doesn’t comment,” Davis said on The MMA Hour. “He didn’t comment on the PFL for four years, ‘cause he wasn’t worried. He’s commented on the PFL a lot the last six months – [he’s] worried.”
“Our cards are gonna be better [next year]…That’s why [Dana White] said ‘I don’t know why in God’s green Earth anybody is buying [Bellator].’...UFC ain’t the NFL. We’re not the XFL – but he wants you to think that. It’s just a matter of time before that starts to get more well-known and we’re not number two, we’re a co-leader.”Source https://www.si.com/fannation/mma/pfl/pfl-chairman-ufc-dana-white-worried
