I think Mukesh Kumar should be heavily considered in an Indian team. Mukesh Kumar had a decent economy rate in yesterday's match and Australia's batsmen managed to score just five runs in the last over. If Mukesh Kumar had been given a chance in this World Cup, I think he could have achieved a lot. But Mukesh Kumar should play in ODI series as well as T20. His bowling action and the occasional yorker showcased his prodigious talent.
I think sirajj-shami-bumrah trio is good as it gets, but he'd been certainly a better choice in 15 squad instead of Prasidh Krishna (who came when Hardik Pandya got injured).
I believe in the high-profile white ball tournaments he won't get many or any chances because of the existing seam trio so he'll only play in these kinds of bilateral but not for long (at best 3 years), he's already 30.
In red ball cricket tho, there might be a chance that he will play some role, similar to Umesh Yadav. Yadav used to get in when someone was injured or if they were playing at home.
