When all players prioritize team achievements rather than personal achievements, unity and good performance can be expected. I saw that from Newcastle last season in the Premier League, while Girona was the La Liga team that was in the spotlight because of that. If all Manchester United players have this mindset, then I'm sure the team will get better from game to game.
Manchester City has made Haaland their mainstay center forward. He gets a lot of assists from his teammates and that has made Haaland and Manchester City win many titles last season. Ten Hag must imitate how Pep Guardiola manages the team and handles problems between players and controls the dressing room, if that is achieved then I believe Manchester United will be very competitive.
This did not happen at the start of the season at Man United because several players tried to show their personal abilities to be safe playing as starters, but after experiencing several defeats. Erik Ten Hak tried to evaluate his players who were too selfish so that the team became more solid even though it was not running normally because several players at the bottom/defenders were injured. The Man United players must be formed collectively because they have lost unity when playing and even the Hojlund has not shown the quality he has when playing in the Premier League.
There are times when Erik Ten Hak has to learn a lot from Pep Guardiola and not try to put players in other positions that are not his playing position. So far Erik Ten Hak has not been able to give his best for Man United and both of them season at Old Trafford has been very different. Hojlund needs a lot of support from the midfielder so that this young player can show the quality of a world striker and he needs to adapt to the style of play in the English league so he can quickly become one of the best strikers.
