It could be said that Lukaku is very likely to become the top scorer in Serie A but Roma failed to finish in the top four of the standings (I know Martinez has scored 12 goals so far). That is the reality we see about Jose Mourinho current squad, but in essence his signing has a good impact on improving the club performance. On the other hand, it is reported that Roma and Chelsea management have agreed to a new agreement regarding Lukaku future status, Roma agreed to make the Belgian striker status permanent for a figure of 37 million pounds and Lukaku must be willing to reduce his salary.

Next, Roma will face Udinese in Week 13 of Serie A, this is an opportunity that must be utilized well to push into the top four of the standings, because Napoli and Fiorentina will face tough matches. I don't think Udinese is a tough opponent, because so far they have only been able to achieve one win in their 12 matches.
Lukaku's display in Roma has made him likely to become the Serie A top scorer, his move to Roma brought out a better him, he's been playing well for the team and ensuring their wins too, although they don't have the chance of finishing in the top 4 standing but nonetheless, Mourinho has been able to reshape the team into a more competitive and victory oriented team, his managerial skills has paid off in boosting the players' strength and confidence too.

For Lukaku, Chelsea now has their eyes all him as a result of his advancement in real time, hopefully if the move clicks, he won't go back to lagging behind for Chelsea, they're just in quest for a solid striker so I wouldn't blame them if their eyes are popped out onto Lukaku, but after rejecting him earlier i doubt if Lukaku would want to play for Chelsea again.
