I see a lot of people here talking about gambling responsibly. Yes, that is something very true, but have you ever been a gambling addict?

To be honest in the past I have spent a lot of money gambling. What I mean here is that I spent all my savings on gambling. Maybe the nominal amount is not that big but it makes me feel like a gambling addict. I spent 5 months of my savings on gambling. Currently I am aware and am in the stage of improving my own financial condition. Have you ever felt like a gambling addict? and how much did you lose in gambling?

I have to admit that I went through periods when I thought about gambling all the time. But then I asked myself a question. How long can I live like this? Then I did some financial planning to take control of my finances and I got back to normal. Today I have a set amount of money that I spend on gambling. And I never exceed that amount. And most importantly, I see gambling only as a means of entertainment. And I don't see it as a model of passive income or a model of regular income or a key to getting rich. And I realized that when my life became normal, I became a happier person.
Now that's a discipline you don't see everyday as many people would have found there self in your situation might just tend to be procrastinating about the habit and thats the beginning of a serious addiction that can't be stopped. Many people lack self control and tend to fall out and become serious addict to this act of gambling. Myself had of difficult times in gambling habit but mine was nothing too serious that I wasn't in control of.

Gambling is something that one should know his limit and when to stop, some people are just in the lost that everytime they try out their habit in gambling they are going to win a big amount which is obviously the trap that is behind someone becoming addicted to gambling.
