Are those coins that you are sure also went along with the rise of Bitcoin during the halving period or even before the halving happened? It happens so often in this industry that I've actually witnessed it twice.
That's generally how cryptocurrencies work, the whole market tends to move along with Bitcoin apart from a few cryptocurrencies that are either dead since no one invests in them or those that are newly launched and aren't yet a part of the bigger marketplaces. Bitcoin is the leader of the market in both bull and bear markets because altcoins follow its movements whether it's going up or down since investors start buying or selling other assets as well when they see Bitcoin moving in any direction.

But the growth and drop percentages can have significant differences which is why it's always better to have a diversified portfolio so that you can get potentially higher profits than just holding a single asset. If Bitcoin goes up 5%, an altcoin following the movement might move up 10% and if you have both, the altcoin will earn you more profits in there.
