I don't know why Lazio play so badly when they should have won and earned three points. Salernitana are in last place and were able to score two goals and win this game. It was the first win for them this season.
Lazio generally this season hasn't been their best, although they are seen as one of the average team in the serie A because they have always been within the average range in the serie A they finish top 6or 7 and have hardly finished amongst top four or three so much isn't expected of them.
Considering the position of salernitana and their form this season, one will generate expected Lazio would follow the trend of getting three points from them because they seem to have been really generous with points as almost every team that meets them gets a point at least but it's unfortunate that Lazio seem to appear in their worse such that they couldn't win a team that's so much prone to relegation and one of the weakest in the serie A this season.
It seems that Maurizio Sarri was negligent in preparing his team during yesterday international break, he seemed to be enjoying smoking without prepearing care of the Lazio squad properly. I can't imagine how Lazio could be so generous with Salernitana, a mediocre club who currently occupies the bottom of the Serie A standings, and help them by giving them their first win after waiting 13 matches. On the other hand, Inzaghi squad managed to achieve a narrow 2-1 victory even though they did not dominate possession of the ball, but in terms of statistics on shots on target they beat Lazio by 6 to 2.
Salernitana efforts to get out of the degradation zone have paid off, however they will face Fiorentina the following week, a club that has almost the same strength as Lazio. on the other hand, Sarri squad will likely have difficulty finishing like last season, so far they are still stuck in 10th place in the standings with 17 points, most likely they will have difficulty finishing in the UCL zone.
