I agree with you. I don't think the Leverkusen team is very strong. Leverkusen is a mediocre team. Yet the way the team has maintained consistency is admirable. And it was possible because of Xabi Alanso. He is an excellent coach. He has been able to create a strong bond between the team players. The players are also confident in every match. That's why we consistently see better performances from Leverkusen in every match. And even with a mediocre squad, the team is still managing to score a lot of goals. They scored 37 goals in 12 matches and won 11 matches. The team shares points with only Bayern Munich. Xabi Alanso has made it even harder for Bayern Munich to dominate the Bundesliga this season.
We have tough teams in Bundesliga this season, I've enjoyed good moments watching these clubs play football. I have triggered few bets and also won slightly and massively from the system. Xabi Alonso is doing a great job because it's not easy in the space of a year after appointment as headcoach, he have started improving the team's performance in all rounds and they're swiftly topping the table with streak unbeaten runs.
I called Leverkusen a mediocre team considering the squad. I know their performance and gameplay are great. And watched most of Leverkusen's matches. The performance of the players is very good. However, they do not have any star players in their squad like Bayern Munich. That's why I called the team mediocre.
Bayern Munich and Leverkusen are fighting for the title, the Stuttgart team is little behind. I would have been happy if the Dortmund team had not fallen behind in the title race. Then the Bundesliga would have become more crowded. Dortmund team is 10 points behind Leverkusen.
