I gamble for fun often, and if it's solely for entertainment, go for your favourite games elsewhere, but if it's for the context of "gambling" then it can't solely be taken as you seem. Fine, people could gamble for fun, but I tell you, the percentage of those who would truly be gambling for this purpose is so little, the majority are in for the money. It would only be unwise for people to believe that gambling is now the avenue they will be rich, that's what causes most of their desperation and that mindset has to change in order not to cost them money and even their sanity.
Of course, there are gamblers who are good at their games, they make money regularly. Now, seeing the advice that gambling can't make someone a stable income will be to them like you are a joke and feel you are taking their source of income from them. How they do it to gain regularly, I don't know, but one thing I know is that if most people till follow in their footsteps, they will blame themselves, that's the end conclusion all the time based on experience. Gambling is not easy, there are more losers than winners, and the more you want to win, the more you lose if you do not apply wisdom.
I nevertheless encourage gamblers to learn more, this has exposed some people to more know-how on how to earn via it. But no one should ever believe that they can rely on gambling for consistent earning especially when they are responsible persons or at least want to be.
I also gamble for fun and it is only for entertainment and there is no desire to chase wins or recover losses because I know it will only be in vain for me. But it is true that very few people only use gambling for the purpose of getting entertainment while others have the goal of earning money. They will have difficulty if the goal of gambling is to make money because gambling is not about making money. They really have to change this mindset so they don't think about making money from gambling. There are still many other ways they can make money.
We know that few people can make money from gambling but they also won't be able to earn it regularly because this is gambling where there are bound to be wins and losses and they are already aware of it. We also won't know how they can earn income from gambling, whether there is a special strategy that can help them earn money from gambling or whether it is because their luck and analysis are better than other people. But most people will not be able to make money from gambling and only get into trouble from gambling. So instead of getting into trouble from gambling, we should use gambling as entertainment. After all, we can also get a win one day, even though we don't get it too often. At least, that can make our hearts happy.
My advice to gamblers is not to try too hard to make money from gambling and rather look for other ways to make money elsewhere. That would be more promising than trying it from gambling. Moreover, gambling is not a way to get a steady income that we can get easily because of the money we use to make money.
Yep, gambling for fun is a far cry from gambling for profit. Yet, the allure of "easy money" often blinds players, doesn't it? They forget, or perhaps ignore, the foundational truth of gambling: its a game of chance, not a reliable income source. Your advice to avoid chasing monetary gains in gambling is sound. Why? Because the house always has the edge. Its a business, after all, designed for profit - theirs, not the gamblers'.
The fallacy many fall into is believing they can outsmart a system designed to profit from their hopes. Its not about intelligence or strategy; its about probability, and the odds are not in their favor. The irony? Those few who do profit consistently from gambling often possess skills or insights that transcend mere luck. Yet, for most, this remains an elusive dream. Better to find joy in the thrill of the game than the mirage of easy riches.
