reputation and off topic would be appropriate for such topics. Drama does not happen very often and you can join the forum channel on Discord where forum related events can be discussed more quickly. If the topic is not locked and self-moderated, it will turn into dharma in its entirety.
Why will the discussion be locked? Threads like that are kept opened unless another one to continue discussing it is opened.
Off-topic is not a board for it. Because it is about the members of this forum, it should be in reputation board. There may be some of it that may also be in meta, but if it is about a member on this forum, it should be under reputation.
