Being out of the relegation zone and then thrown back down there due to points deduction from sanction is one act that could damage the entire team’s morale, Everton who’ve been struggling to get 3 points in recent matches were struck with points deduction and this has demoralized the team as you can see in the team’s play against Manchester United yesterday, they played good football but were poor in decision making in their final third.
The match yesterday saw Everton struggled in possession and to even get a goal, this is one problem the head coach needs to sit and take necessary and immediate actions because with this type of form, I fear for them that they’ll be relegated, I think there’s still a little more time to get this Everton back on track and out the relegation zone.
The conditions experienced by Everton so far are almost the same as those experienced by juventus last season and for everton they still have many opportunities to improve their quality to be better. However, when the punishment comes suddenly and it is very surprising, it is quite appropriate that the players mentality experiences problems and that is very unfortunate. Maybe this season everton will fight again to get out of the relegation zone because currently they are the bottom team in the standing.
I'm sure Everton can bounce back and they just need support from the fans for now because in terms of their game they are still quite good like when they faced Manchester united. Burnley and everton currently collect the same points and they are 5 point adrift of Luton who is in 17th position as a team that is safe from relegation. That a pretty close point difference considering there are still a lot of games left in the season.
