Interesting answer. This looks like an invitation to negotiations or at least leaves room for further maneuvers. It's funny that there is no praise for City and all the talk about loyalty to the club and other nonsense. After such a shitty attitude towards Haaland in the club, this is absolutely the right behavior.
I hope that the release clause in the contract is adequate (which can be assumed since Haaland moved to City as a possible top 1 for the coming years) and Real will buy him at the end of this season.
It will be interesting to see if there are any conversations from Madrid to the agent or Manchester City about Haaland because regardless, this is a good situation for Haaland and it would be reasonable for Madrid to be interested now given the performance that Haaland has given previously at Manchester City.
In addition, we know that now Manchester City and Pep himself are in an uncertain situation due to some rumors of fraud they committed in FFP issues and now there are a lot of charges filed against Manchester City even though this is still not proven to be true but I think this could interfere with City's electability especially if they are proven guilty of committing some illegal actions related to FFP because the penalty is clearly the most severe is degrqaadasi.
But on the other hand, there are other possibilities about this because we know that sometimes exposure is important and it could be that Manchester City and Madrid are frying this news with the help of the media so that they get a good situation for the exposure they get later.
