Well, if people do not mind about having an alt, then I guess I can leave things as they are. I have seen some people spend time finding alts and then making drama about it, for that I wanted to avoid being involved in such a situation in the future. I would rather have the drama right now, at the beginning of tg9's life, than in a couple of months and maybe having to deal with someone claiming that I am a scammer just because of an alt (if someone said "tg9 is an alt of 98789" I would have no issues acknowledging so, which is what I proactively tried to do here).

At this point, I have the feeling that at least a few are just posting crap in this thread to meet their signature campaign goals. Regarding the "walls of text", I have always had this tendency to write a lot (because I try to clarify everything, see, I am doing it now), but in this particular case I try to address all/most points since my previous reply. The alternative would be posting multiple answers one after the other, but that would make this thread grow unnecessarily.

Part of the reason to request my other account is tagged is to avoid it being used in the future. Even by myself if I changed my mind. But mostly because hacks can happen; besides the fact that BitcoinTalk has been hacked a handful of times, hashing algorithms are eventually cracked, and one day a hacker may be able to decipher the hashed passwords that have been stolen (or, more importantly, that will be stolen in any future hacks) from this site. Since that old account would be connected with this one, I also wanted to avoid that, if a hacker at some point gains access to 98789 I won't be to blame (and for that same reason I asked here that if you ever see 98789 come back to life, feel free to mark it in red, as I have no intention of using that account, and no interest in selling it either, if I wanted a quick buck I would just use it myself and join a signature campaign as someone here suggested).

If this forum allowed deleting accounts, I would have just recovered the password, deleted it and started over, but it does not. People questioning that I want to earn the merit I get, well, that is my problem and not your business; that has nothing to do with the central topic of this thread. About TD, I will probably check again how it works and see if something has changed, but I just saw that Timelord2607 used to be in DT 1 but shows as crossed out, I guess he was removed from there but I was not aware (I think Timelord was already an user in the days of 98789 and already an established one, so I was surprised to see that his feedback to my accounts was not considered as trusted, but now it makes a little more sense).

Recovering 98789 and tagging itself or this account, or setting its personal message to say it is abandoned or anything seems useless to me. If the account was ever hacked, a hacker could easily undo all that (unless feedback cannot be removed, but I suppose it can). I am not upset, but if I were it would not be for people not taking my word (I have emphasized in every message that I am willing to try to prove my ownership), but with the two or three spammers that are posting without reading (likely because they are only trying to bump their post count for their SC) and with people quickly jumping to conclusions (for that very same reason I do not buy into that being connected in the future to 98789 without having mentioned it before, would have been as smooth as some people say).

Regarding chatting from my Crypto-games account, I just did that (~ 2 AM Colombia time, people around included "DemiGod", "BladeRunner" and "sparrows", if you know any of them, they can probably confirm that some weirdo sent random messages in the chat: asked whether accounts starting with numbers were restricted, whether you could change your user name and said he was trying to prove ownership of a BCT account), but I guess that won't prove much for two reasons:

1. You can rename yourself there (I asked that in the chat and they said you can do it twice a month).
2. At some point they asked me to change my nick because it started with numbers or it was all numbers (so I went from 98789 to noson, noson stands for nueve - ocho - siete - ocho - nueve, which are those numbers in Spanish, my native language).

I had not logged in for 5 years! But I guess Crypto-games won't give information away to other users, so you cannot simply go and ask them if what I am saying is true.

I also sent a message on Betcoin.ag at (2:22 AM Colombia time, saying "Hey, folks!", I guess it is unlikely that any of you was conveniently around just now, but if anyone has a Betcoin.ag account and is interested, we can also arrange a time/date and I can send a message there). My understanding is that on Betcoin.ag you cannot change your username, so this is a more solid proof. That chat also seems kind of dead, earliest message is from more than 12 hours ago (1:33 PM Colombia time), so if you read this in the next hours, you can probably just go and see my message there.

I will tweet "Jelou BT foucs" from X. That will not fully prove my ownership of 98789 but it adds up. If anyone has any other ideas and wants to throw them here, I am open to doing so; if not, then I guess I will just move on and continue using the forum as usual. If anyone here feels that this is a cover up to scam (that sounds like actual crap to me, but hey, you are free to believe what you want), you are invited to monitor my activity. You will eventually get bored, but that will also kind of add credibility to my story, I guess.
