But then I was against that statement. Newcastle may not perform well in the UCL but in the EPL I believe them to perform incredible regardless of the casualties before them. By January we will see a different game entirely from Newcastle after they have signed new players. I am certain that they will successfully come out top 5 in the EPL so that they can have another chance in the UCL next season.
I was also against that statement. Some people have been claiming that Chelsea will defeat Newcastle because some of their players are injured, but I don't think that will be a big deal for Newcastle because they have new players and Alexander Isak is back to the squad. He scored the game's first goal 13 minutes in. The reason some people are doubting Newcastle to win Chelsea is because they lost to Bournemouth, and they believe Newcastle has become weak, Cole Palmer that Chelsea has been hailing, who can only score penalties. Since Chelsea was able to draw with Manchester City and defeat Tottenham, I've heard that Chelsea is back, which is definitely wrong.
Chelsea's next game is against Everton, if Chelsea is unable to defeat Everton, then Manchester United is already stronger than them, as Man United's 3:0 victory over Everton this season. I keep on wondering where Chelsea will end up with these performances. Chelsea unable to move to the top, keeping on moving around the ten place in the league, poor performance from a big club. Pochettino needs to set more standard for the club to be avoid end up in that position.
