Just use a wallet that people have been using for a long time. Electrum is one of the wallets that used by people here since 2011. Electrum also has a special board here which you can ask for anything problem there. I used electrum since I was registered here, and keep my bitcoin (from signature) there without a problem. Just follow what people suggest such as How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum, then, you will be save.
