The match between Uganda and Kenya is ongoing in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier. Uganda, after batting first has set a target of 163 for the Kenyans. The pitch offers a lot of support for the bowlers and it is going to be very difficult for Kenya to chase down this target. And if they win today's match, Uganda is almost assured of a spot in the 2024 T20I World Cup. They need to win their next match as well, but that is against one of the weakest teams (Rwanda) participating in this tournament. Kenya, once again is going to miss out qualifying for a major ICC tournament.
Yes Today Uganda batted pretty well they scored 162 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.I think 162 runs is a fighting score in T20 cricket for any team if they can bowl with the right line length then Uganda can win today's match.Simon Ssesazi scored 60 runs today for the Ugandan team.In his innings of 60 runs he played 50 balls and hit 5 fours and two sixes.
Uganda cricket team scored 162 runs leaving Kenya needing 163 runs to win.
At the moment Kenya cricket team has collected 61 runs for 2 wickets in 8.3 overs. They average 7.18 runs per over.

Currently, the match is paused because of the rain delay. Things are not looking good for Kenya right now. They have already lost four wickets and scored 76 runs but the problem is they have used up more than 11 overs so far. That is just not good enough for them. Kenya will be hoping that the rain goes away and they will be able to chase the target again. But even if the match is played again and the rain goes away, I don’t think Kenya will actually be able to win. Because the target is very big. And we all know that after the rain the track is going to behave a little weirdly.
