Currently chainlink as safe investment for longterm if you read carefully chart on coinmarketcap and Link already running for a long time many ecosystem they have created until now, so i don't worry about price. My prediction price of chainlink coin is $33-$40 in the next bullrun if that happen it will big profit for who hold this coin
In my opinion, LINK price will be higher than your prediction when the bullrun occurs, because the ATH price of LINK is $52.87, so if the bullrun occurs, LINK price will rise at least to the ATH price or even make a new ATH, therefore now is the right time to do DCA LINK and hold until the next bullrun occurs, because I am sure that by investing in LINK at this time, so we will get a big profit when the next bullrun occurs.
clearly you mentioned that ATH of LINK is almost 53 dollars and now the price is just 14 dollars

price means this needs to take at least or almost 400% so it can take another High.

if the price hit 30$ next year.
