Since when being skeptical about closed-source firmware and software that can't be verified is considered "conspiracy"?
I myself do not really consider it a conspiracy but I'm just highlighting the general opinion of people on other sites e.g. Reddit if you ask them about this kind of thing.
It would be better to ditch Intel completely if only ARM was ready for mainstream. Bitcoin Core can run on it, Macs run with it now and I'm going to assume all the other manufactures are going to follow suit.
