It's all about making money and believe me, you won't be making a lot from matic compared to the most hype use case in the next bull market, it is just what it is mate, now A.I is making some noise in the space, I believe all attention will be shifted to this use case.
Although you recommend Altcoins as you say above by juxtaposing technological advances and artificial intelligence. I think it is also important to check and re-check coins before you make any investment decisions. I myself only like Top Teen and above and the most comfortable ones are BTC and ETH.
