I never received that geo block message.  Not even now.  I think you are correct when you stated they are selectively blocking banned countries. 


I don't recall when I noticed the self exclusion page but I was generally aware that most casinos had an option for it,  my concern was, what was the point if I could just make a new account since mine was anonymous.   You can't enforce a self exclusion properly if you haven't verified the players info.  When I expressed concern about that fact to my host,  I believe, at the very least,  it should have triggered KYC procedures, and arguably the host self excluding me.  At that moment there was no verify section on the site to upload documents,  I know some people may argue I should have just done it myself.
