They were lucky to win because I don't know what's wrong with Chelsea,  they always seem to start games well. However, by the end of the match, they seem to be playing with the ball anyway and start creating goals that aren't necessary. Take a look at the unnecessary foul that Gallagher committed in the final seconds of the first half, which resulted in a red card. they were just lucky to win, their midfield and defence are always at their best, but they still need to focus on that striker.
When Gallagher received the first yellow card i was just so sure he would receive a second yellow if he was not substituted because of his aggressiveness, I was just praying for the first half whistle to be blown so he can be replaced because i knew he would cost the team and receive a second yellow.

Chelsea did well to manage and win despite playing with 10 men, i never expected them to be able to hold Brighton till the final minutes. You can say they were lucky but a win is a win no matter how terrible they played. You can’t expect a 10 men team to play a satisfying football and I wouldn’t say they were playing with the ball, they were under pressure and they wanted to just hold on the lead that’s why they were defensive minded.

Chelsea dramatically defeated Brighton in a match where they had to play the entire second half with only 10 people after Conor Gallagher's red card. Losing in numbers, Chelsea accepted to play a defensive counter-attack, and this approach had a significant effect. In the remaining time, Chelsea kept the team low to focus on defense to preserve the gap. Brighton's efforts helped them equalize, thanks to Joao Pedro, but that was all the away team could do. This is considered the perfect momentum step for Chelsea before the big battle with MU at Old Trafford. However, they are still 10 points away from the 4th position that Aston Villa holds. And indeed in the coming time, Mr. Pochettino and his team will have to make more efforts to improve themselves if they want to finish the season in the top 4.
