Dortmund indirectly helped Bayern Munich when they forced Bayer Leverkusen to share the points in March 13. Losing two points makes Bayer Leverkusen's gap with Bayern Munich even closer, Leverkusen is three points ahead of Bayern in second place who have only played 12 times and have a greater goal difference. The draw achieved by Leverkusen was welcomed by Bayern Munich, they have the opportunity to return to the top of the standings if they succeed in winning the 13th game. It is very difficult for other teams to make Bayern Munich slip up, especially when they are in a positive trend, the opportunity to return to the top of the standings will be taken advantage of in order to maintain the opportunity to defend the championship title.
Dortmund managed to provide equal resistance to the top of the standings in week 13 and although Dortmund's performance was not much better than Leverkusen this season but they managed to make Leverkusen share points with them at home.
